The threshold is applied to the car body, if necessary, it is eroded at the landing site, and the places that prevent the threshold from sitting down tightly are cut off, sometimes you also have to heat the ends of the threshold with a technical hairdryer or cut off the ends, and then paste them at the landing site. If there is a shortage of the length of the threshold along the body, the threshold is cut across, from the reverse side, at a distance that is not enough in length, fiberglass is applied and glued with polyester resin. (For those who are not professionally engaged in installing body kits, there is a bumper repair kit in any auto chemistry store, which includes a sheet of fiberglass and polyester resin with a hardener)

The places where the threshold fits to the body are degreased with anti-silicone, if there are places for a decorative grid in the thresholds, then it is marked, cut and glued (glue is used for gluing car windows), the surfaces of the car body and the parts where they touch are covered with a primer, glue is applied to the threshold for gluing car windows, glue is also applied to the car body, the threshold is applied to the car body and fixed until the glue dries completely, then the threshold is additionally fixed from the ends (self-tapping screws, pistons)

The pad is applied at the attachment point and the fit of the pad looks, if necessary, the places of contact with the attachment point are adjusted, eroded, heated with a technical hairdryer and quickly cooled with cold water.
The places of contact of the parts are treated with scotchbright***, degreased with anti-silicone, overlapped with a primer, glue is applied to the places of contact for gluing auto glass. The pad is applied to the attachment point and fixed to the bumper with screws.
The order of fixing with screws: the edges of the bumper, the middle of the bumper, the corners of the bumper, the entire contour of the bumper. After hardening of the adhesive composition, the self-tapping screws are unscrewed, the holes remaining from them are plastered.

The parts are attached to bolts 8-10mm. to the lower edge of the bumper, these parts are removable!

The shell is inserted into the amplifier and centered on the body, the alignment points are marked with a pencil, if there are problems with gaps, they are eliminated with the help of a technical hair dryer. The part is heated in the right places, reduced and cooled with cold water, while the part gets the shape you need!
Some shell models require cutting the bumper booster, gluing additional fasteners (mounting shelves, slide guides-usually these elements are removed from the standard part), additionally parking sensors, headlight washers can crash into the shells. Regular fasteners are often used for fixing parts .

The fitted shell is inserted into the amplifier, holes are drilled for nail-type pistons, places are marked for the landing of headlight washers and parking sensors.
The marked places are cut through. The fasteners on the sides depend on the model of the bumper you are installing: The guides (sleds) are glued on the sides of the bumper with glue for gluing car windows or on epoxy resin.
The edges of the bumper are directly attached to the wings of the car using self-tapping screws or nail-type pistons.
The places for the optics fasteners are marked, the places for the optics fasteners are cut, the optics are installed without connecting to the electric circuit.
The bumper is installed, and then removed from the car (look at the coincidence of gaps and mounting points), the optics are removed. The bumper is ready to be prepared for painting

Attention! The parts are installed only after the paintwork has completely dried!
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that body kits are made of polyester resins. This material, even after drying, remains conditionally plastic, i.e. after installing it on the car and pulling it to the body with fasteners, it will, after some time, take the necessary shape. The same applies to cases when, during improper transportation, the part may "twist" or the "cheeks" of the bumper may disperse. Just put the part on a flat surface (you can give a little load) and in a day it will take the necessary shape. For the same purpose, to speed up the process, the part can be heated with an industrial hair dryer, with intermediate cooling water.
The basic principle when installing and fitting body kits is to cut off the excess, increase the missing. If, when installing body kits, you use the services of professional installation centers that have experience working with fiberglass, all of the above measures imply and are included in the installation cost (i.e., the installer's statement "these thresholds cannot be installed, since they are shorter by a centimeter" should tell you that the service employee has no experience and skills in installing body kits).
